Maharashtra tops NITI Aayog's Export Preparedness Index

Maharashtra has topped the NITI Aayog's fourth Export Preparedness Index (EPI) 2024, followed by Tamil Nadu and Gujarat at second and third positions, respectively.

This index is designed to assess the preparedness of states in terms of their export potential and performance.

According to the report released on Wednesday by the government research institute NITI Aayog, Maharashtra is followed by Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Punjab.

Uttarakhand topped the small states category, followed by Jammu and Kashmir, Nagaland, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Goa, and Tripura.
