Singapore has been declared the safest country in Asia in the Global Peace Index (GPI) 2025. Singapore has secured 6th place globally. This report has been released by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP). In this, 163 countries were evaluated on parameters like security, conflict and militarization. Although Singapore has slipped one place compared to 2024, its peace score has improved, which reflects its consistent dedication towards social stability and public safety.
