The renovated Carnac Bridge, now called the Sindoor Flyover, connecting the eastern and western corridors of south Mumbai, was officially inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday morning. The flyover is expected to significantly improve the east-west traffic flow in south Mumbai. It is being said that traffic will resume by 3 pm. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the Sindoor Flyover, formerly called the Carnac Bridge. The bridge, connecting the east and west of south Mumbai, was renamed as Sindoor Bridge after former governor James Rivett Carnac under Operation Sindoor.
