IPS Vitul Kumar appointed as CRPF Director General

Vitul Kumar, a 1993 batch senior officer of the Indian Police Service (IPS), has been appointed as the acting Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Vitul Kumar replaced the current DG Aneesh Dayal Singh. IPS Aneesh is retiring on December 31, 2024. On December 30, he handed over the charge of Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to Vitul Kumar.
