Sarguja district of Chhattisgarh, the country's most remote tribal region, is now connected to air services. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the gift of air travel facility to Sarguja and its surrounding districts by virtually inaugurating Maa Mahamaya Airport, Darima, Ambikapur from Varanasi. Congratulating the people of Chhattisgarh, the Prime Minister said that the modern facilities being developed in the airports of India have now become a topic of discussion in the world.
