India's star batsman Virat Kohli has achieved a major feat by scoring a half-century in the second innings of the first Test against New Zealand.  Virat Kohli has completed 9,000 runs in Test cricket.  Before this match, he needed 53 runs to reach this figure, in the first innings he had returned to the pavilion without opening an account.  But in the second innings, he started bracingly and took the first run off the 15th ball.  Kohli completed his half-century off 70 balls.
