Dhulikhel became the first 'healthy city' in Nepal and the second healthiest city in Asia

 The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared Dhulikhel municipality in Kavrepalanchowk district as the first 'healthy city' in Nepal and the second healthiest city in Asia.  Since 2014, Dhulikhel Municipality has implemented various programs to achieve this status.
 Dhulikhel Municipality, which is campaigning to become a healthy city, is being monitored by the World Health Organization from 2021 to achieve the goal of becoming the healthiest city in Nepal.  Dhulikhel scored 65.48 points on various indicators for healthy cities, making it join the WHO Healthy Cities Network.
