Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro challenged the Tesla CEO to appear on national television and fight head on, which Musk has accepted.
"If Maduro loses this fight, he has to resign and if he wins, I will give him a free trip to Mars," Musk said.
Musk has been criticizing Nicolas Maduro on social media for days, accusing him of rigging the election in Venezuela.
Earlier in a press conference on Monday, Maduro said Musk wanted to attack Venezuela with his weapons and army. They have taken over Argentina with their money and satellites and now want to control the world.
Maduro said he was Chávez's child. They are not afraid of anyone. Musk is willing to go wherever he asks. Maduro also said that anyone who tried to mess with him was doomed.
