The managing director of ITPO is also Pradeep Singh Kharola, the new chief of the National Testing Agency

Amidst the ongoing uproar over the NEET-PG examination, the Indian government has removed Subodh Singh, the director general of the National Testing Agency (NTA), from his post.  Retired IAS officer Pradeep Singh Kharola has been appointed as the new Director General of NTA.

 Pradeep Singh Kharola is the Chairman and Managing Director of India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO).  He has been given additional charge of NTA.  Students and political party activists are taking to the streets in several cities to protest over allegations of irregularities in the examinations.
