The Army Hospital (Research and Referral) in New Delhi on Tuesday announced the launch of a state-of-the-art skin bank facility, the first of its kind to be set up within the Armed Forces Medical Services. This historic initiative aims to revolutionize the treatment of severe burn injuries and other skin conditions among service members and their families.
Lt Gen Arindam Chatterjee AVSM, VSM DGMS (Army) and Colonel Cmdr said, "The launch of this skin bank is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the health and welfare of our service members."
"This facility will not only enhance the quality of care we provide but also strengthen our ability to support those affected by catastrophic injuries," said Lt. Gen. Arindam Chatterjee
