New Academic Session In Assam To Start From April 1

The new academic session in the schools of Assam will start on April 1, and according to the academic calendar, the first week consists of Utsaav Vidyarambha.  Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu made the announcement on Thursday.
 "New Academic Session in our schools will start from 1st April. The first week consists of Utsav Vidyarambha according to the Academic Calendar," Pegu tweeted.
 "Formal classroom transactions will begin on 10 April. As in earlier years, students will receive Free Textbooks in the 1st week of April," the tweet added.
