Assam shines again on the country's sports stage.This year,Arjuna Award winning archer Jayanta Talukdar shone at the national level. Jayanta Talukdar of Assam won the gold medal in the Senior National Archery Championships. The Senior National Archery Championship 2023 is being held in Gujarat.In the men's 70 Meter final, Jayanta Talukdar of Assam defeated Olympian Atanu Das to win the gold medal.
