NationalDesk:

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday produced AAP leader Manish Sisodia in the Rose Avenue court.  The ED sought 10 days remand for Sisodia.  The ED claimed during the hearing that there was a conspiracy behind the excise policy.  The rules in the liquor policy were changed to give certain people a 12% benefit instead of 6%.  Sisodia needs to be remanded for questioning.  The ED told the court that Manish Sisodia and K Kavita were in touch.
ED claimed in court, the policy benefited Southern companies.  Big businesses were benefited.  The rules of the liquor policy were changed at Sisodia's request.  Illegal earnings were arranged.  Part of the wholesale trade was given to certain people.  Margin of 12% instead of 6%.  Digital evidence erased.
The ED said Sisodia was giving the wrong answer on the question of 12 per cent margin.  The scam has trailed Rs 219 crore.  We need to investigate the whole process and question the other accused.  Therefore, 10 days remand has been sought.
