Team India's star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been battling injury for the past several times. He was not included in the first two matches of the Test series against Australia due to injury. He has now not been included in the team for the remaining two matches of this Test series. Jasprit Bumrah has not been selected even for the ODI series played between the two teams.

Jasprit Bumrah is currently considered one of the most successful bowlers in India. Bumrah (Jasprit Bumrah) suffered a 'stress fracture' of the waist after the tour of England in July 2022. Due to this injury, he is continuously getting out of the team.
