Sharad Yadav was a seasoned player of Indian politics.  A special achievement is also recorded in his name.  He was the first leader in India to contest the Lok Sabha elections from three different states and won everywhere.  First he became MP from Jabalpur seat of Madhya Pradesh.  After this, he traveled to Parliament by winning from Badaun seat in Uttar Pradesh and Madhepura seat in Bihar.
Sharad Yadav has not only been a Lok Sabha MP, but has also been a Rajya Sabha MP.  He was elected a member of the Lok Sabha a total of 7 times.  Apart from this, he also worked as a Union Minister of different departments.
Sharad Yadav joined many central government and also saw the work of many important ministries.  He took charge of important ministries like Textiles Minister, Civil Aviation Minister, Labor Minister, Consumer Affairs and Public Food Distribution Minister.
