Sports Desk:
BCCI New Selection Committee: The Board of Control for Cricket in India may announce a new selection committee soon.  The board is trying to conduct interviews of all the candidates as soon as possible before the New Zealand series.  At the same time, the decision regarding Rohit Sharma's T20 captaincy will also be taken in the new year itself.  However, if the board wants to form a new selection committee before the tour of New Zealand, then there is still 15 days to do so.  However, seeing the short time, the board is currently in a dilemma regarding this.  It is also possible that the board may ask the old selection committee headed by Chetan Sharma to announce the team.
On the other hand, regarding the announcement of the selection committee, a senior BCCI official told InsideSports that 'it will take some time'.  We are expecting that the interviews of all the candidates will start by next week i.e. January.  The number of applications we have received will take at least 10 days.  At the same time, we will talk to Chetan Sharma and his team after Christmas whether it is possible for them to announce both the teams '.
