'Situation under control in Tawang, flag meeting held at Bumla'; Army bid on skirmish with PLA

After the skirmish between the soldiers of India and China in Arunachal Pradesh, India has increased the vigil on the border.  Meanwhile, on the occasion of Vijay Diwas, Lieutenant General RP Kalita, chief of the Eastern Army Command, said that the People's Liberation Army (PLA) crossed the Line of Actual Control (LAC), protesting against it.  The soldiers on the side have received injuries.  It has been resolved at the local level.  A flag meeting has also been held in Bumla regarding this.  Situation is under control.
Lt Gen RP Kalita As a soldier said that , "we are always ready to defend our country.  Be it peace or conflict, the primary task is to ensure the territorial integrity of the country against external or internal threat.  We are prepared for all eventualities."
