Learn from Gaurav Yadav what it is to join the NDA for the country. Young Gaurav Yadav insisted on getting admission in the National Defense Academy. Today he has emerged as the gold medalist of the 143rd course from the National Defense Academy at Khadakwasla. Even after Gaurav passed the IIT examination, he kept the truth hidden from his family. Gaurav is a native of Jajor-Bas village in Alwar district of Rajasthan. His father is a farmer. From the beginning, Gaurav wanted to pursue a career in the country's armed forces. And finally Gaurav even completed it after getting admission in a college in Delhi. The parents are proud of Gaurav's achievement.
Gaurav passed the NDA entrance examination twice. However, he did not get admission in the institute after failing to pass the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview round. However, Gaurav did not allow himself to be distracted after these two failures and success kissed his steps for the third time. “I used to stand in front of the wall in my room and imagine that the SSB panel was interviewing me and I was answering their questions,” Yadav said after the NDA’s passing out parade program on Wednesday.
