National Desk:
India is a big country.  In this everything changes from one corner to another, from language to food.  In such a situation, the people of Northeast India feel discriminated against the people of North India.  They have many types of complaints.  To deal with this discrimination, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court.
But the Supreme Court refused to hear the demand to enact a law to deal with discrimination against the people of Northeast India and to include the history and geography of this part of the country in the school curriculum.
The court said that this is a policy issue.  It is the responsibility of the government to formulate and implement the policy.  Court's intervention is not necessary for every evil or need.  The court told the petitioner that as far as uploading videos of racial discrimination on Youtube is concerned, a complaint can be given to the police.  Only the police and concerned departments are capable of taking action.
Let us tell you that Northeast India means Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Nagaland and Sikkim.  These are the border states of the country.  That's why people make fun of them.  Because of this, people hurt had demanded to make a law on this.
