IIT Guwahati recognizes Dr. Saswati Rabha's 'Rabha Language Research'

Dr. Saswati Rabha has brought a message of hope to the Rabha community by conducting research in phonetics to facilitate the application of modern technological techniques in the Rabha language as well as Angami of Nagaland and Western Korean at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Guwahati.
  Professor SRM Prasanna (IIT Dharwad, Karnataka) has been working in the laboratory of IIT Guwahati for the past six years to make the language of minorities like Rabha ignored and confined to domestic conversation  Professor) and Dr. Priyanku Sharma (Professor, IIT Guwahati), a young linguist from the North East.
 Earlier, Dr. Saswati Rabha had read papers on the phonetics of the Rabha language at the International Conference on Electrical and Electrical Engineering and had written several international standard papers that had attracted the attention of scholars at home and abroad.
