During this, many important issues were discussed between the two leaders. Only after meeting PM Modi, the UK government has made a big announcement to issue 3000 visas for India every year. This visa is for those youths who can go to Britain and enhance their career.
The UK government told about this that India is the first country which is going to get the benefit of this scheme. The UK government said in a statement that the UK-India Young Professional Scheme has been approved. Under this scheme, every year 3000 trained Indian youth in the age group of 18 to 30 years can live and work in Britain for two years.
The UK government said that the launch of this scheme is an important moment for the bilateral relations between the two countries. Also shows Britain's commitment to strengthen the economy of both countries in the Indo-Pacific region.
The British government said that among all the countries in the Indo-Pacific region, Britain has the strongest relations with India. Of all the students who come to Britain to study from abroad, a quarter are from India only. Also, due to Indian investment, about 95 thousand people get employment in the whole of Britain.
It may be known that talks are still going on between Britain and India on a trade deal. If this deal is done then it will be the first such deal of India with any European country.
