Now former India captain and veteran player Sunil Gavaskar has given great advice to Rohit Sharma.
Former India legend Sunil Gavaskar said, 'The bowlers have achieved success in the tournament when Rohit Sharma was temporary and stopped him from opening the innings.' Gavaskar further said, 'But Rohit himself has prepared this blueprint to be bang in the first 6 overs as captain of the team. He cannot be seen moving the ball around. He always hits the ball, but that pull shot on Australian grounds put him in trouble.
Sunil Gavaskar was quoted by India Today as saying, 'We saw that even two years ago he was dismissed twice after scoring 40-50 runs (in Tests) and playing pull shots. This got him in trouble again. In the T20 format, in the first six overs, Rohit will have to take care of the fielder and play the pull shot.
