UPSC Exam IAS Success Story: Ankita Chaudhary of Rohtak, Haryana is discussed among the most beautiful IAS officers of the country. She does not look less than a model. Coming out of a small town, she passed the toughest UPSC exam in the country and secured 14th rank in the second attempt itself. There was a time when Ankita Chaudhary broke down after the death of her mother, but then her father took her daughter's hand and encouraged her. The result of which is their success today, which is an example for the girls of the country.
Ankita Chaudhary's father Satyavan is an accountant in sugar mill and mother is a housewife. She did her education till 12th from the school in Rohtak. For graduation, she took admission in Hindu College, Delhi. During her graduation in chemistry, she made a plan to prepare for the Union Public Service Commission exam and then started doing post graduation. After completing her master's degree, she started working hard in this exam.
Ankita's preparations were going on, meanwhile one day bad news came for her. When she came to know that her mother had died in a road accident, she could not handle herself. It seemed that the dreams were shattered, but during this time her father became her encouragement and inspired her daughter to prepare.
Ankita, who studied chemistry in graduation and post graduation, started preparing for UPSC, she choose public administration as an optional subject. In the year 2017, she gave the exam for the first time but when the result came, her name was not there in it. This did not deter Ankita's preparation, but she started working harder. Then in the year 2018, she gave the second attempt exam, this time she not only passed the toughest exam in the country but also emerged as a topper.
Ankita tells the students preparing for UPSC that they should focus on their hobby not only on studies. By giving time to hobby in between studies, candidates become mentally strong and their mind remains fresh. When the last time of the paper comes, then revise a lot. Take a good sleep a day before the paper and give the exam stress free. This increases the chances of getting success.
