9th Amur Falcon Festival Held at Tamenglong Hq under the theme “Rhythm of Migration”

The ninth edition of the Amur Falcon festival was held at Tamenglong headquarters under the theme “Rhythm of Migration” with much fanfare. Minister of Water Resource and Relief and Disaster Management Awangbow Newmai attended the program as the Chief Guest with several other prominent leaders.  In his keynote address, chief guest Awangbow Newmai called for the protection of the bird Amur Falcon and the entire flora and fauna in the district. He also called for the promotion of local products such as pineapple, orange, and bitter beans which are widely known outside for sustaining the economy.
