NASA scientists did it, scientists did the feat of growing plants on the soil brought from the moon

 International Desk:

Scientists are constantly trying to settle humans on the moon and research is being done continuously, although it will take a long time.  But in the meantime, the American space agency NASA has done the feat of planting a plant in the soil brought from the moon.  Some time ago this soil from the moon was brought by the Apollo astronauts of NASA with them.  Now it is believed that the next goal of scientists will be to grow a plant on the moon.
For the first time, scientists have grown plants in soil from the Moon collected by NASA's Apollo astronauts.

Robert Ferrell of the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences said, "Plants actually grew on the Moon.  are you kidding with me?"  Ferrell and his colleagues planted Arabidopsis plants in lunar soil brought by Apollo 11's Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin and other moonwalkers.  All the seeds germinated in it.
Ferrell further said, 'Plant grown in the Apollo lunar regolith presents the transcriptome, which is giving a new positive direction to all the research being done on the moon.  This proves that plants can successfully germinate and grow in the soil of the moon.
The lunar soil is called lunar regolith, which is fundamentally different from the soil found on Earth.  Soil was brought from the moon during the Apollo 11, 12 and 17 missions, in which these plants were planted.
