The prestigious Saraswati Samman instituted by KK Birla Foundation will be given to renowned Sanskrit scholar Sadhu Bhadreshdas for his literary work 'Swaminarayan Siddhant Sudha'. A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the 'Selection Council' chaired by Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri (retired). Let us tell you that Sadhu Bhadreshdas is an internationally renowned Sanskrit scholar and a monk of BAPS. Born on 12th December, 1966 in Nanded, Bhadreshdas is an MA, PhD, D.Litt and is honoured with Doctor of Science (honorary degree) by IIT Kharagpur. He has made a significant contribution to Indian philosophy.
