Indian Navy's INS Satpura and Savitri reached Myanmar with 50 tonnes of relief material

More than 2000 people have died so far due to the devastating earthquake in Myanmar. Relief and rescue operations are going on at war level. India is also providing assistance to Myanmar under 'Operation Brahma'. Two warships of the Indian Navy, INS Satpura and INS Savitri, reached Myanmar's Yangon port late Monday night with 50 tonnes of relief material. India's Ambassador to Myanmar Abhay Thakur handed over the material to Myanmar authorities on Tuesday morning.

On March 29, relief material was sent to Myanmar from INS Satpura and Savitri under Operation Brahma. Which has now reached Myanmar. Earthquake victims will be helped with this material. External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar has posted on X that two ships of the Indian Navy have reached Myanmar with the material.
