World Poetry Day is celebrated every year on 21st March. This day tries to spread the beauty, expression and unique creation of poetry to the people. The celebration of this day dedicated to literature started in the year 1999 from the 30th session of UNESCO in Paris where 21st March was declared as World Poetry Day.
Literature is the mirror of society. This literature is also considered a means of peace and inclusion. Keeping this in mind, this year the theme of World Poetry Day is 'Peace as a bridge for peace and inclusion'. On this special occasion, let us read those 5 Hindi poems which not only give peace to the mind but also act as a light in the darkness.
