Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore may return to Earth soon. US agency NASA has given information about the two astronauts who have spent more than eight months on the International Space Station (ISS). NASA has said that Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore will return on March 19. Earlier, it was said that they would return in early April. Now they may return two weeks before this pre-determined date. If Sunita and Butch return on March 19, they will spend a total of 286 days in space.
Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore have been stranded on the ISS since June 2024. They went on an eight-day mission but have been stranded in space for eight months due to a malfunction in the aircraft. NASA is now planning to return both of them on March 19. This return may be possible due to changes in SpaceX's Crew-10 mission. Williams and Wilmore will return from SpaceX's Crew-10 capsule, which has been attached to the ISS since September 29.
