Iran tested an anti-ship cruise missile with a range of 1,000 kilometers capable of reaching US Navy ships in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, Iran's state TV reported on Saturday. According to AP report, this anti-ship cruise missile has a range of more than 1,000 kilometers.
The report did not give details about the weapon carried by the missile nor the timing of the test. Its range is more than 1,000 kilometers, Revolutionary Guard Navy chief General Ali Reza Tangsiri said in a report which showed an underground missile facility off Iran's southern coast.
