Former Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) scientist Srinivas Hegde passed away on last Friday. He breathed his last at the age of 71 years. Srinivas Hegde was the director of the country's first lunar mission Chandrayaan-1. He had been battling kidney disease for a long time. He was responsible for several major missions.
