The US Justice Department on Friday searched President Joe Biden's Delaware residence. The agency recovered six classified documents during a search of Biden's home. The agency also seized Biden's handwritten papers. A lawyer for the president made the announcement in a statement Saturday night. The search lasted 13 hours, he said.
President Joe Biden represented Delaware from 1973 to Biden served as vice president in the Obama administration from 2009 to The Justice Department has taken some classified documents from Joe Biden's home related to his two terms.
"President Biden himself had authorized the Department of Justice to search his home for possible records and classified documents from when he was vice president," said Bauer, Biden's attorney. US President Biden said recently that he has "no regrets" about the classified documents found in his home and back office. He also believes that the matter will be resolved.
