India is being praised for the chairmanship of UNSC, the term is going to end this month

UN member states have hailed India's successful tenure as an elected non-permanent member of the Security Council and its productive presidency this month, saying it has demonstrated the highest standards of multilateral diplomacy.
India assumed the monthly presidency of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on December 1 for the second time in its two-year term as an elected member of the Council in 2021-22.  India had earlier assumed the presidency of the UNSC in August 2021.
All countries have praised India.  India's focus was on terrorism and reforming the United Nations.  In the Security Council, India is also seen as the voice of global ie developing countries.
