Transgender Mahamandaleshwar Himangi will contest from Varanasi, will face PM Modi

Himangi Sakhi will contest from his parliamentary constituency Varanasi to challenge Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.  Himangi Sakhi is the declared candidate of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat.  On March 27, the Uttar Pradesh unit of the Mahasabha announced its candidates for the 20 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.  The name of transgender Mahamandaleshwar Himangi Sakhi from Varanasi parliamentary constituency was also included.  Himangi Sakhi, who is contesting from Varanasi, said she is in the fray for the rights of transgender people.
 Prime Minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary constituency of Varanasi is scheduled to be polled in the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections.  Despite the final round of elections, the election stir and interest in the Varanasi parliamentary constituency is growing.  This is once again because transgender Mahamandaleshwar Himangi Sakhi has announced her intention to contest against Narendra Modi.
