Miss Universe Contest: Saudi Arabian model Al-Qahtani lied to the world, she is not participating in Miss Universe

Saudi Arabia Model Claim: Saudi Arabian model Al-Qahtani is not participating in the Miss Universe pageant this year. The Miss Universe Organization issued a statement saying that Saudi Arabia will not participate in the 73rd Miss Universe pageant. The organization has denied reports which claimed that Saudi Arabia is going to participate in the Miss Universe pageant. The organization has also denied that 'Saudi model Al-Qahtani will represent Saudi for the first time in the Miss Universe pageant.'

The Saudi model herself claimed from her social media handle that she is participating in the Miss Universe contest on behalf of Saudi Arabia in the year 2024. Now the organization organizing the contest has denied Al-Qahtani's claim.  In a statement issued by the organization, it is said that 'The selection of participants from the countries participating in the Miss Universe competition is a strict process, which has to be strictly followed by our terms and guidelines. Each country is selected on the basis of rules made in advance. In this process, fairness and transparency in the selection of contestants is ensured. We want to clearly state that no competition of any kind has been organized in Saudi Arabia. Any kind of claims in this regard are false and misleading.'
