In the last several years, it has been seen that many senior leaders of the country's oldest political party, Congress, have changed their sides. This trend has not stopped either. Recently Milind Deora also left Congress. The Gandhi family has made very few direct comments on such leaders. But recently, during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Rahul Gandhi said something by name which came into discussion. Rahul Gandhi said that he wants leaders like Himanta Biswa Sarma and Milind Deora to leave the party as their ideology is not in line with it.
In fact, Rahul Gandhi said this while addressing the party's 'Digital Media Warriors' in West Bengal on Thursday night and stressed his commitment to protect the principles adopted by the Congress. He said that I want people like Himanta and Milind to go away. I totally agree to that. Himanta represents a special kind of politics, it is not the politics of the Congress Party. He said this during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra that reached Bengal.'
