National desk:
The political drama in Karnataka is not going to stop.  The party high command has not yet decided on the CM post.  Both Siddaramaiah and DK Sivakumar are veteran leaders and are contesting the chief ministerial post.  Meanwhile, choosing one for the high command is becoming a very difficult decision.  Sources said DK Shivkumar is also insisting on the post of Chief Minister.
Meanwhile, the party also discussed the two-and-a-half-year formula.  DK Shivkumar has also made a condition.  According to sources, DK Shivakumar says that even if it is a shared agreement, the first two-and-a-half-year term should be given to me while the second to Siddaramaiah.  DK Shivkumar says he wants nothing more than to be given a first term.  I will remain silent in that situation as well.
DK Shivakumar has clearly refused to run for the post of Deputy CM.  Now the Congress high command will meet each other and only then the name of the new CM will be announced.
