Rafale In Air Exercise: Indian Air Force contingent will participate in a multinational air exercise at Mont-de-Marsan Military Base in France for about three weeks. The air exercise will deploy four Rafale jets, two C-17 aircraft and two IL-78 mid-air refuelers. The Air Force contingent is leaving on Friday (April 14). The Rafale jet is taking part in overseas exercises for the first time since joining the Indian Air Force.
An IAF contingent will leave for France to participate in the Mont-de-Marson exercise, the Air Force said. The exercise will be conducted from April 17 to May 5 at the rate of the Indian Air Force. It will consist of four Rafales, two C-17s, two L-78s and 165 Air Force personnel.
