‘North East is the Ashtalakshmi of India’, PM Modi said at Bodoland Festival

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first Bodoland Festival at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in Delhi on Friday (November 15, 2024).  Speaking on the occasion, the PM congratulated everyone on the occasion of Dev Diwali and Guru Nanak Jayanti.  PM Modi said that “today the country is also celebrating Tribal Pride Day.  The first Bodo Festival is being inaugurated here.  The First Bodoland Festival has attracted people from the Bodo community from different states of the country to Assam.  All gathered here to celebrate a new future of prosperity of a culture of peace.”
