Professor Kuladhar Chamuah, a leader of the Assam movement, passes away

Kuldhar Chamuah, a retired professor of Debraj Roy College, Golaghat, passed away at his residence at 10.30 am on Sunday. He was a pioneer of social life in Golaghat.  The death of the professor, who worked in human resource development throughout his life as a professor of English, caused deep mourning across Golaghat district today.
He was the convener of the Gana Sangram Parishad and led the Golaghat district during the Assam movement.
