Assam PSC Exam 2022 Notification: News of work for the candidates preparing for the Central and various State Civil Services Examinations. Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the notification for the first phase of the Combined Competitive Examination 2022 i.e. Preliminary Examination. According to the Assam PSC Examination 2022 notification (No.No.36PSC/D-212022-23) issued by the Commission on Monday, January 16, 2023, this time the examination will be conducted for a total of 913 vacancies of advertised services/posts in various departments of the state government. These services/posts include Assam Civil Service (Junior Grade), Assam Police Service (Junior Grade), Labor Officer, Block Development Officer (BDO), District Transport Officer, etc.
The candidate must hold a degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess such qualification as may be declared equivalent by the Government.
The applicants from General/Ex-Servicemen (general) category are required to pay the fee of Rs 250, whereas Rs 150 is applicable to candidates from SC/ST/OBC/MOBC including ex-servicemen. Women candidates including ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of the fee.
