Former minister Nazrul Islam passed away

Former minister Nazrul Islam passed away.
Islam passed away at the Health City Hospital in Guwahati after a long illness.He was 75 years old at the time of his death.Nazrul Islam was the Minister of Food and Civil Supplies in the state.He was elected as an MLA from Laharighat constituency five consecutive times from 1996 to2021 .He served as a minister in the government of late former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi from 2002 to 2016.
