Dibrugarh University authorities will take responsibility for the treatment and future of Anand Sharma, who is struggling with life and death after being a victim of ragging.
The vice-chancellor of Dibrugarh University, Dr. Jiten Hazarika, said this on Wednesday.
The hostel wardens Dibyajyoti Dutta, Palash Dutta and Mustaq Hussain have already been dismissed from their jobs, he said.
He said he would provide a job to Anand Sharma if necessary and would also lend a helping hand personally.Twenty-two people have been expelled so far for alleged involvement in the ragging incident.
