Eminent film director Pulak Gogoi has passed away

Eminent film director Pulak Gogoi has passed away.Pulak Gogoi passed away at his residence at 8.30 am.Gogoi  was undergoing treatment at the Guwahati Medical College for a long time after suffering from kidney disease.Pulak Gogoi was born in 1938 in Jorhat and later studied at the Bandra School of Arts in Mumbai.He was able to gain the appreciation of the audience not only on canvas but also in the film industry.Pulak Gogoi also won the Rajat Kamal Award for his direction of Assamese films like Khoj, Sendur, Rail Ali Dubari Ban, Moram Nadir Gavru Ghat.
