Intel has launched its next gen processor in India. The company introduced the Intel 13th Gen Intel Core desktop processor at the global event only last month. The company has named it Raptor Lake. It has been given a clock speed of up to 5.8GHz.
The company has said that this speed is quite right for gaming, streaming and recording. Intel's 13th Gen Intel Core family processor has 6 unlocked processors. This includes i9-13900K, i9-13900KF, i7-13700K, i9-13700KF, i9-13600K and i9-13600KF.
These processors come with up to 24 courses and up to 32 threads. They support 36MB smart cache, up to 32MB total L2 cache, maximum turbo core frequency up to 5.8Hz. Apart from this, the maximum efficiency frequency has been given up to 4.3GHz.
Also Intel UHD Graphics 770 GPU and up to 128GB of storage space is also available. Intel's 13th Gen Intel Core processors come with Intel 600 or newer Intel 700 series chipset motherboards. They support both DDR5 and DDR4 memory.
The company said that the new desktop processor series gives 15% better single threaded performance. While it gives 41% better multi-thread performance. These processors also support PCIe Gen 5.0. The company's Raptor lake processor also comes with many advanced functionality support.
It also supports Intel Adaptive Boost technology and Thermal Velocity Boost. It manages the processor clock frequency based on the work load. Regarding its availability, the company has said that the 13th Gen Intel Core desktop processor will be available for purchase in India from October 21, 2022.
