Priyanka Baruah became the first doctor in Karbi Anglong to receive a postgraduate degree from AIIMS

Priyanka Baruah of Dakmaka ( Karbi Anglong) has graduated from AIIMS with a postgraduate degree.Priyanka Baruah, the only daughter of late Pradeep Baruah and Hiran Baruah of Dakmaka, Karbi Anglong district, graduated from AIIMS with a Masters Degree in Aneshesiology & Critical Care and Medicine and became the first doctor in the hilly district.Priyanka was born on August 22, 1991. She passed her high school examination with distinction in 2008 from the local Christjyoti English School and pursued her higher secondary education in science at Ramanujan College, Nagaon.Priyanka graduated from Guwahati Medical College in 2016 with an MBBS degree and worked as a compulsory medical doctor at Ghentaghat Primary Health Center for one year.  She later got the opportunity to study at AIIMS and passed with distinction on the 1st of this month.
