Finance Minister Ajanta Neog met with the All Assam Government NPS Employees Association

Representatives of the All Assam Government NPS Employees Association held a meeting with the Principal Secretary, Commissioner Secretary, Secretaries and senior departmental officers of the Government of Assam on Sunday at the invitation of Finance Minister Ajanta Neog.The meeting was held in the presence of Principal Secretary, Pensions and Public Grievances Department Archana Burma at the Finance Department auditorium at Janata Bhawan.During the discussion, the representatives of the organization expressed the seriousness of NPS, the deprivation of retirement life of the employees and requested the government to solve the problems by presenting the miserable image of the already retired employees.  The Finance Minister said the government is aware of the issue and has formed a high-level committee to formulate necessary policies and take effective decisions to relieve the working class.
