Assistant Commissioner of Kamrup Metropolitan Barbie Hazarika has been suspended.The officer was suspended for allegedly ill-treating foreign guests who came to Assam at government invitation.Barbie Hazarika was working as an Officer of Special Duty (OSD) in the Secondary Education Department.Hazarika was accused of ill-treating the Singapore delegation and the ASEAN delegation who came to participate in the Act East Policy in the city.2016 ACS Officer Barbie Hazarika is the 6th rank holder of the 2016 batch.
