Union External Affairs Minister visits IIT Guwahati

Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar (External affairs minister visits IIT Guwahati) and Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma on Saturday interacted with faculty and students at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati.  Speaking at the exchange of views, Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that IIT Guwahati has earned a reputation in various fields.IIT Guwahati has a special place in the country.  He said that to be a good engineer, you need an engineering consciousness.  The job of engineers is to solve problems.  He said the students and researchers of IIT Guwahati should dedicate themselves to the service of the country and society.
