The CPIM demanded the rule of law in the state

The CPIM wants justice of Batadrawa incident . The CPIM Assam State Committee has expressed deep concern over the arson incident at the Batdwara police station in Dhing district on May 21 and the atrocities committed by the police against the villagers on May 22 after the death of a youth in police custody.The party demands a high-level judicial inquiry into the incident (CPIM demands ensuring rule of law in the state) and strong action against the guilty police officers who took over the rule of law, the miscreants who burnt the police stations etc.The CPI(M) Assam State Committee strongly condemns the death of Shafiqul Islam in police custody and the burning of the police station by some miscreants and demands a high-level judicial inquiry into the incident .The party is adamant that no party can take over the rule of law.
